VICTORIA ST residents and Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore got the result they had been hoping for in the battle against backpackers selling their vans in the streets. Local Government Minister Don Page announced the state government would support Ms Moore’s Private Member’s Bill. The Bill amends the Local Government Act to give councils the power to ban vehicle sales in their streets.

Last month the Potts Point Partnership hosted a breakfast in the Wayside Chapel's new community hall. Pastor Graham Long talked to guests about the challenges they faced and the fundraising breakthroughs that allowed the Wayside Chapel to continue to be an essential provider of services to the marginalised.

Gunning Commercial has been awarded as the Best Commercial Real Estate Agency (small) in the 2011 Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) Awards of Excellence. The award was announced at the Awards for Excellence Gala at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre on 15th October 2011.
