CBD. Through fostering partnerships, we will ensure that the area
remains cosmopolitan, energetic, culturally rich and economically
prosperous.
In adopting this vision we recognise that:
Kings Cross is an inner city precinct: complex, tolerant, diverse and
dynamic. With whispers of old bohemia, and lashings of elegant
naughtiness, it is alive with activity - mostly fun, some ugly and all
nakedly human.
Potts Point is a metropolitan milieu of style, grace, money and
power, dining and the designer, glamour and the urbane, It is where
modern society eats, lives and sleeps.
This dichotomy - this juxtaposition of two opposites - forms the one
diverse, modern and tolerant society that make up our most urban
of communities.
The Potts Point Partnership has its beginnings as a local Chamber of
Commerce. There has always been a strong working relationship
with local government, particularly over the past eight years where
the Partnership has been working with the City of Sydney to
support local businesses.
The Partnership, founded in 2002, remains committed to working
closely with the City of Sydney. We see this strategic business plan
as a blueprint which outlines our aspiration to work together with all
stakeholders, including the local community and the City of Sydney.
