Transport & Parking
The easiest way to get to the Kings Cross area is by public transport. You have the choice of going by train, bus or taxi. Or you can do a picturesque 20 minute daylight walk or cycle from Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), through the Botanical Gardens and along the waterfront. Another option is a 15 minute walk or cycle straight up William Street from Town Hall to the Coke sign.
Taxi
You can travel to Kings Cross by taxi and leave by taxi from Kings Cross taxi ranks in Bayswater Road (opposite Mansions Hotel), Victoria Street (opposite Holiday Inn) or Macleay Street (at the Fountain).

CityRail
Kings Cross Station is right in the heart of the area and the Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line stops there on the way from the CBD to Bondi Junction and back.

Parking
For motorists the area provides two main parking stations. Both are centrally located and offer 24-hour-parking 7 days a week.
The Kings Cross Car Park is located adjacent to Fitzroy Gardens on the corner of Ward Avenue and Elizabeth Bay Road, with the entrance on Elizabeth Bay Road.
Not far from the Kings Cross Train Station you find Bayswater Parking Station in 33 Bayswater Road underneath the Crescent apartments building, where Hugo's and Dancer's Cabaret are also located.
